²⁶ Now the rest of the acts of Pekahiah and all that he did, behold, they are written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

Pekah Reigns over Israel

²⁷ In ^(A)the fifty-second year of Azariah king of Judah, ^(B)Pekah son of Remaliah became king over Israel in Samaria and reigned twenty years. ²⁸ And he did what was evil in the sight of Yahweh; he did not depart from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he made Israel sin.
